DMR Challenge

New Zealand DMR Challenge

1st December 2021 – 31st January 2022

1) Work any 12 Operators from New Zealand

2) Work 2 Operators from each ZL Region.
Eg ZL1, ZL2, ZL3, ZL4.

3) Operate 4 DMR Simplex QSOs with different stations.
Set the radio to a DMR simplex channel and work 4 stations either from home or from a high location using 144.675MHz or 432.800MHz, (Talk Group 99).

4) Transmit through at least 2 different DMR Repeaters –
Repeaters include the AREC ZL Trbo, MMDVM based systems or High-Powered hot spot only.

5) Operate through 5 Different Talk Groups.
Any 5 DMR talk groups can be worked via any network, AREC ZL Trbo, DMR Plus, Brandmeister, XLX, TGIF.

6) Work 6 Countries outside of New Zealand.
Try Talk Group 91 Worldwide.
7) Participate in the ZL Digi Net (Held on Friday’s at 2000hrs on ZL Trbo).

All aspects of this challenge must be carried out using DMR only – C4FM, D-Star, Peanut, DV-Switch, Dude Star, and Droid Star contacts do not count.
Open to ZL DMR Operator’s Only.

ZL3CAR (Marleys) 438.400 – TG9 and 10 (Local area only)

ZL3DVR (Woolston) 439.575 – ZL, LCL, WWE via Brandmeister

ZL3DMR (Cavendish) 439.700 – ZL, LCL, WWE etc
