As hoped, the clubrooms were open and ready for BBQ-business by 10am boxing day morning. Some months ago the committee agreed to allow a local building firm to use our car park during the day, and these fine-folks donated quite an enormous meaty-pile of goodies, bags of crisps, cheese, and soft drinks for this BBQ event. All we needed to do was add a small pile of onions, and some bread and we were ready. In all, around 25 people attended the event, and a good time appears to be had by all.
With many thanks to Bruce Smith who helped get the event rolling along with Rick and Paul who helped tidy up at the end; the club-room was left spotless, tidy, and even all of the bins had been emptied. Many thanks everyone, Mark.
