I’m keen to see more members give fox-hunting a go. All you need is a hand-held 2m tuned to 146.475 FM. If you want to be more advanced, a hand held yagi, possibly home made, number 8 wire / measuring tape construction will help.
It’s a fun hour (or so) looking for a small low-power transmitter that’s been hidden by one of our group.
This month I shall be hiding the ‘fox’ near the corner of Brooker Ave and New Brighton Road.
The transmitter (fox) will wake-up at 2:30 Sunday 27th July.
Come along and give it a go.
