Marleys Hill Maintenance Trip – March 2020

Rodents are a problem everywhere in the world. They seek dry warm places like our repeater huts and cause havoc with wiring and the like. To combat this foam was sprayed into the access points for cable at Marley’s Hill repeater hut. Unfortunately this was not successful. They ate thought the foam and still gained access. This trip was to plug access points with steel wool pads in and effort to stop them from getting in. Time will tell if this works.

While we were there Mountain Radio where working on a project of there own. So we were careful not to get in there way.
