The Radiotek crew has always made the promise that “every project goes home working”. Up to now we have been quite successful in our goal, but this time we struggled! The Speaker amplifiers of the second timers all worked first time, as did the robot mouse (!!).
However all the FM radios had the same fault (suspicious) and the student with the AM radio project ran out of time.
Rod introduced the second time students to electrical measurements, and Rory showed the third time students electronic components , and how to blow them up .
Thanks to the support crew again, namely Mike ZL 3MWD, Graeme ZL3GSL, Rod ZL3NW, Rob ZL2ROB, Bruce ZL3TDF, Rory ZL3HB, Graeme ZL3NK and Kelvin ZL3KB.
As a “by the way”, we have just heard one of our longstanding RadioTek participants , Emily, has not only signed up for HamCram, but has also got her first job, and it is in the electronics industry. I guess we might have had something to do with that!
