Although the Christchurch Amateur Radio Club was not part of the annual JOTA weekend this year in October, Christchurch hams were still active in helping the young scouts to get on the air. Unfortunately our own Echo link repeater didn’t want to take part of the event, but local scouts were still able to taste the enjoyment of ham radio at the Malvern Scout den.
