At the NZART Conference I was please to accept Arthur Godfrey Awards on behalf of two of our members .

Mike Duncan ZL3MWD.
His outstanding service to Christchurch Branch has included
- Hamcram. Mike organises the tutors and tutors himself. He also gives one on one assistance to those who don’t quite make it at Hamcram.
- Scrapman. Mike takes the scrap from our trading table to the scrap metal merchant. He has raised over $2000 for club funds in the last 12 months.
- Catering. Mike does the tea and biscuits for our weekly meetings, monthly meetings, Radioteks and Hamcrams. Probably in excess of 2000 cups of tea per year.
- Committee. Mike is a valued member of the Branch Committee.

Richard Smart ZL4FZ.
His outstanding service to Christchurch Branch has included
- Hamcram. Richard tutors at Hamcram and also answers the tricky questions that sometimes arise.
- Repeater Maintenance. Richard does most of the technical work on our repeaters and also climbs poles occasionally.
- AREC Section Leader since 2010.
- Committee. Richard is a valued member of the Branch Committee.
The Club also retained the Rothschild Cup for most exam passes. Accepted by club president Ian ZL3TAO.
